There is a proposal to to be discussed at this weeks meeting of the Ross and Cromarty Group of the Highland Council that the Lease on the Fortrose campsite should be extended by thirty years after its current expiry in 2025.  Similar discussions are ongoing in regard oof the Rosemarkie Campsite. This seems to FRCC an extraordinary long time  and with nearly six years to run it seems premature to discuss a new lease. The letter below has been sent today to the Highland Coucil and our Ward Councillors:
