Dog owners failing to clear up after their pets continue to be a problem.  It's a nuisance and a health hazard and it's an offence that can lead to a fine.   FRCC and Rosemarkie Amenities Association have met the regional dog warden to discuss the issue.   She is intending to visit the area around the Beach Cafe in particular and reminds residents that they can report incidents via the Highland Council Website.   Offenders can face a minimum £80 fixed penalty fine.  Two people must witness the incident and specific information needs to be provided.  More details and how to report can be found by clicking on this link:
