Fortrose and Rosemarkie Community Council is organising a donation this week-end for the

Highland Foodbank ahead of Christmas.  Residents can leave donations either under the Fortrose Christmas tree (off Cathedral Square) or in the local Spar, Rosemarkie. 

“We’re delighted to support the Highland Foodbank and felt the most symbolic place for donations in Fortrose is under the Christmas tree.  It’s also great that Spar, Rosemarkie is happy to take donations for too” says Sarah Atkin, Chairperson, Fortrose and Rosemarkie Community Council.  “It’s easy to forget that many people in the Highlands are struggling to put food on the table.  Christmas is a time for giving and we hope the community will show their support for this initiative.”
