All change at Chanonry Point for 2018

With serious traffic issues at Chanonry Point over the past 2 tourist seasons; not only the stress for residents, reputational damage to the golf club but also emergency access change for 2018 was unavoidable.  The Community Council Chairperson, in her role as Chair of the Chanonry Stakeholder Group invited D & E buses to consider running a Shuttle during the high season (July/August.)  They came back with a better proposal – to trial a Shuttle Bus this year from Easter until the end of August.  In addition to better management of traffic we are keen to see local businesses seeing more of a ‘dolphin dividend’.  Bringing people back to the villages from Chanonry Point should help there too.  D & E are taking 100% of the commercial risk on this venture.  Expect to see the Dolphin Shuttle in a few weeks!  Follow the link to the timetable.
