An Article on the Life of Bob Ross
Centenary commemorations of the beginning of the Gallipoli campaign sparked lots of memories for the family of a Black Isle man who survived terrible injuries.
The photographs and information were provided by Mr Ross's surviving daughter, Betty Forrester, who lives in Rosemarkie.

Rosemarkie Caves Project
In the Highlands of Scotland on the Moray Firth, on the south shore of the Black Isle and just up the coast from Rosemarkie, there are 19 old sea caves.
The Rosemarkie Caves Project is a partnership between people living locally and the North of Scotland Archaeology Society (NOSAS), assisted and advised by professional archaeologists. The group members want to investigate the archaeology of the caves to ascertain who used them, and when. Usage could go back for 5000 years, but the earliest date found so far has been 300 BC, in Cairds' Cave.
