In my role as Family Historian have discovered a Great Grandfather was Rev. Colin Mackenzie b1707 d1801. 1st Glack Estate Aberdeenshire and chaplain of the initial 1778 Macleod Highlanders. Have identified a family photo as his 2nd youngest of 8 daughters Betty Mackenzie who married Dingwall Baille Postmaster Patrick 'Peter' Hay so now looking for images of Colin. His lineage may also have a few portraits from what I see you have in Fortrose Hall.
